Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been battling through a knee injury all season, but the three-time Pro Bowler says he feels he’s getting healthier at the right time.
Elliott, who has scored three touchdowns in the last two weeks, told reporters he anticipates being “close to 100 percent” by the playoffs. Dallas has two regular season games remaining.
“I’m very encouraged about the direction it’s going. I feel more explosive. I feel faster,” Elliott said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Elliott has split time with Tony Pollard this season, but still leads the Cowboys in all three major rushing categories. He’s found the end zone 10 times on the ground, making it the third time in his career he’s notched double-digit rushing touchdowns in a season.
At 11-4, Dallas has already wrapped up the NFC East title and is still in the running for the No. 1 seed in the conference.
They will take on the Arizona Cardinals in a crucial game this weekend before finishing out the regular season against the rival Philadelphia Eagles on January 9.
