Tyler Guyton was a somewhat polarizing prospect in the pre-draft process. While nearly everyone was taken with his massive size and readily acknowledged his sky-high potential, the Oklahoma big man had his doubters when it came to whether or not he’s ready to be a plug-and-play starter in the NFL in 2024.
Those questions are what made him still available with the 29th overall pick in the first round of the draft Thursday night, and they’ll follow him to Dallas as the Cowboys coaching staff will now be tasked with how to best fit Guyton into their plans for the front five.
