Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett has finally crossed paths with Paxton Lynch.
Garrett was the head coach at the time when owner Jerry Jones wanted to use the Cowboys’ 2016 first-round pick on Lynch. Garrett is now an analyst for NBC while Lynch is one of the quarterbacks for the Michigan Panthers of the USFL.

Lynch played in five total games for the Denver Broncos before he got released. In those five games, he compiled 792 passing yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions.
He was then released by the Broncos before bouncing around a couple of other teams’ practice squads, one of which was the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He was the backup coming into this game on Sunday against Houston before he made his USFL debut.
Shea Patterson had a rough first game as the starter, which forced head coach Jeff Fisher to put Lynch in the game.
You can watch the rest of this Michigan-Houston game on NBC.
