Earlier this month, Alexandra Davis filed a lawsuit in a Dallas court that stated Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is her biological father.
On Thursday afternoon, a lawyer said he paid Davis’ mother hundreds of thousands of dollars in 1996 to hide that information. In a statement to ESPN, lawyer Don Jack said he made regular payments on Jones’ behalf to Davis – the total of which amounted to $3 million.
“On numerous occasions I have made payments on behalf of Mr. Jones to Cindy and Alex Davis,” Jack said in a statement. Of course, it didn’t take long for fans to start reacting the latest news in this wild saga.
Some believe this confirms that she is Jerry’s daughter.

Others remained critical of Jones.
