DeMarcus Lawrence has one thing on his mind entering the 2022 season.
The Dallas Cowboys haven’t made the Super Bowl since capturing their third championship in four years to conclude the 1995 season. Lawrence wants to end that drought and get his hands on the Lombardi Trophy.
On Monday, the star defensive end posted a picture of Cowboys legends Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin at the team’s last championship parade. As he spoke to broadcaster Greg Gumbel, “Prime Time” held the prestigious trophy while Irvin reached over to touch it.
Lawrence, who was only three years old at the time of this celebration, shared the photo with the simple caption of “NEED. IT.” He also made it the banner photo atop his profile page.

The fierce edge-rusher is a pivotal component in making this dream a reality. A broken foot limited Lawrence to seven games last season, but he signed a fully guaranteed three-year, $30 million extension to stay with the Cowboys. The 2017 and 2018 Pro Bowl will look to return to peak form in his age-30 campaign.
While Lawrence has participated in six postseason games, he’s never seen Dallas advance to the NFC Championship Game. Micah Parson and Trevon Diggs give the defense plenty of star power to complement Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, and CeeDee Lamb, so perhaps will get to experience his own parade this winter.
