Jerry Jones has become unhinged. During a press conference following the first round, the Cowboys owner appeared to show his entire draft board to the media.
The Cowboys spent their No. 24 overall pick on offensive tackle Tyler Smith. It wasn’t a flashy selection, but it’s one that has been met with some criticism.
Jones defended the pick during a press conference following the first round, but may have taken things a bit too far.
The Cowboys’ owner revealed a copy of the team’s draft board as he tried to prove Smith was his highest-rated offensive tackle available at the time.
To prove to reporters that the Cowboys had Tyler Smith ranked higher on their board than Kenyon Green and Zion Johnson, Jerry Jones showed a copy of the team’s draft board.

That probably wasn’t the best move on Jerry Jones’ part.
“Being a Cowboys fan is embarrassing,” one fan commented.
There are others who actually like how interactive Jones is with the media. It’s certainly a breath of fresh air.
“Not for me. I love Jerry. Don’t always agree with their approach but he’s fun to watch. Twitter has fans like you thinking random “draft experts” who never played the sport know more than every team in the league. Other teams also see something in this kid so let’s support him,” a fan tweeted.
Being interactive with the media is one thing. Showing your entire draft board is another.
Stephen Jones should probably be in charge with holding on to the team’s draft board from now on.
