While their run together with the Dallas Cowboys was incredibly successful, owner Jerry Jones and his former head coach Jimmy Johnson had a brutal divorce.
Ever since their nasty parting of ways, Jones made it clear he wouldn’t let Johnson into the Cowboys Ring of Honor. However, he recently made a surprising admission about Johnson, admitting the fault was his.
In a press conference once the Cowboys returned to training camp late last month, Jones admitted that he “f-d it up” with Johnson as it relates to their relationship together. Jones said he didn’t even have a good reason for doing so.
Well, the two men appear to have put their differences aside. During the lead-up to the Hall of Fame Game between the Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers, Jerry Jones made a special announcement.
Jimmy Johnson has officially been invited into the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor.
Check out the incredible moment.

Johnson looked stunned to learn he was finally getting into the Cowboys Ring of Honor. It’s something he’s been waiting decades for.
However, he was still able to deliver an incredible one-liner. After learning that he would be in the Ring of Honor, Johnson asked, “while I’m alive?”
It was an incredible moment for Johnson and Jones, who look to finally have put their decades-old beef behind them.
Congratulations to Jimmy Johnson on his latest honor!
