The Cowboys have invested in the safety position this offseason, but are they through? Returning are Jayron Kearse and Malik Hooker, but not on his way back is the player who spent the most time in centerfield last season, Damontae Kazee. This would seem to indicate a need entering draft weekend.
Maryland safety Nick Cross is a rangy safety who is physical, a reliable tackler, and a good ball tracker. Cross was phenomenal at the combine, proving to have elite-level performance measurables and he could be a very reliable piece in the Cowboys secondary. Let’s take a look at his film.
