The Dallas Cowboys are giving the 3-0 Carolina Panthers everything they can handle and more today. And Cowboys legend Michael Irvin is absolutely loving it.
After taking a two-score lead over Carolina in the third quarter, Irvin had a message for his beloved team. With star running back Ezekiel Elliott dominating in the run game, he demanded that his team keep feeding him.
“Feed ZEEK!!!!!” Irvin tweeted, tagging the Cowboys running back in the process.
Elliott already has 14 carries for 117 yards and a touchdown. He’s on pace for his best game since 2019 if doesn’t lose any yardage the rest of the game.
Feed ZEEK!!!!! @EzekielElliott

But while Ezekiel Elliott is having no trouble running through the vaunted Panthers defense, Dak Prescott and the aerial attack is doing well too.
Quarterback Dak Prescott already has three touchdowns today. That ties the total amount of touchdowns the Panthers have given up to quarterbacks through the first three games.
The defense is holding its own too. Despite giving up two rushing touchdowns to Panthers QB Sam Darnold, the team has already sacked him four times and hit him several more.
A win over the Panthers would allow the Cowboys to maintain their lead in the NFC East title race as we reach the NFL’s quarter pole.
Michael Irvin is going to have a message for ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith if his Cowboys hold on to win.
