Prescott’s contract with Jordan shocked a lot of NFL fans, but it actually turns out that he had this move in the works for about a month now.
“This has been in the works for a few weeks,” Cowboys reporter Clarence Hill Jr. tweeted. “Prescott asked us to keep quiet about at charity event in May when we spotted him in Jordans. Now it’s official.”
While the full details regarding Prescott’s contract with Jordan Brand aren’t available yet, ESPN insider Adam Schefter did reveal that Prescott is now the highest-paid NFL player on the signature line’s roster.
Between his contract with Jordan Brand and $160 million extension with the Cowboys, it’s been a good offseason for Prescott.
NFL fans couldn’t help but applaud Prescott for landing two significant contracts in such a short period of time.

Prescott might need a bit more time to completely shake off the rust from his ankle injury, but several coaches and players have said that he looks sharp at camp.
When we see Prescott back under center for the Cowboys this September, he’ll be representing the Jordan Brand, that’s for sure.
