NFL fans were pretty amused by a funny admission from CBS announcer Tony Romo during Sunday afternoon’s game.
Romo and Jim Nantz are on the call for the AFC Championship Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals.
In the first half of the AFC Championship Game, CBS ran a promo for Paramount’s new Halo show.
Romo’s reaction to the announcement went viral.
“That’s a video game, right? Why are we plugging it as a show or a movie or a series?” Romo admitted on Sunday.

Yes, Tony, Halo is a video game, but they’re turning it into a television show, as well.

Hey, don’t be too harsh on Romo. There are too many television shows to keep track of these days.
And, after all, it’s still football season.
