The Dallas Cowboys’ 2021 season came to an end on Sunday.
Dallas, the No. 3 seed in the NFC, was upset at home by the No. 6 seed San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
The Cowboys fell to the 49ers, 23-17, in pretty heartbreaking fashion. Dallas had the ball late and was attempting to get into Hail Mary! territory. However, instead of chucking one deep, Dak Prescott ran the ball up the middle, trying to get closer to the goal line. He was successful, but the Cowboys were unable to get off another play.
San Francisco is off to the Divisional Round, while Dallas is going home.
Former professional golfer turned sports media personality Paige Spiranac shared her reaction to the loss on Twitter.

Well played, Paige.
