Just a few hours before the NFL Draft started, a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys posted a heartfelt message on Instagram.
Claire Wolford, who completed her fourth season with the Cowboys, expressed her excitement for the rookies who’ll hear their name called by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
“Can’t help but smile thinking about all the dreams coming true tonight,” Wolford wrote for her caption.
Wolford was a member of the dance team at Nebraska before transferring to Arizona State. She was named the choreography captain in her final year.
Growing up, Wolford looked up to the cheerleaders representing “America’s Team.” With that said, making the squad was a dream come true for her.
“I’ve looked up to the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders since I was a little girl. They are incredibly talented, well-rounded, and sophisticated women with a passion for performing and serving their community,” Wolford said. “I really wanted to be a part of something where I could do what I love while making an impact in the world. DCC has been the perfect fit for that.”

The Cowboys currently own the 24th pick in this year’s draft. They could use some help on the offensive line.
We’ll see if the Cowboys make a huge splash tonight.
