As far as injury scares go, this one passed rather quickly. Originally expected to be sidelined up to two weeks after an MRI revealed a strain to the shoulder of his throwing arm, Cowboys QB Dak Prescott returned to practice on Thursday as the team moved into their second week of training camp. Not only was Prescott there, but he donned full pads, taking part in team portions of practice.
The only difference? He wasn’t throwing, letting the other quarterbacks take the receivers through drills. The prognosis of how long he will go without throwing has been reduced from up to two weeks to now just 2-3 days.
