The Cowboys would love to get the nasty taste of defeat out of their mouths after their disaster against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2. Baltimore would similarly love to cleanse their palates with the sweet taste of victory after starting the 2024 season 0-2.
Two perennial playoff teams meet up in Week 3 hoping to get their franchises back on track as soon as humanly possible. Tough stretches await them both so this week could serve as a pivot point for their year.
This interconference matchup is not a familiar one. The Ravens and Cowboys have only met a total of six times with Baltimore holding a 5-1 edge. Both teams entered the season with clear playoff expectations, and both are on the verge of falling into a hole not many teams can surmount. But it’s the Ravens who are clearly the more desperate. Baltimore can’t go 0-3 and still expect to make the postseason in the loaded AFC.
It will be a battle of wills and should come down to the winner of these three keys to the game…
