The Dallas Cowboys’ lack of activity has been comical this offseason. The front office decided to limit itself in free agency more than usual, leaning on youth to fill holes on the roster. That strategy is unlikely to leave a better team on the field this season compared to last, but how does the 2024 roster stack up with the one from the 2023, position by position?
The 2023 team had another great year on offense under quarterback Dak Prescott, but it started out slow with their offensive line struggling to open holes in the running game. That didn’t improve much all year, but the coaching staff transitioned to an offense led by CeeDee Lamb and both the QB and WR were able to end the season as All-Pros and the team had one of the best offenses in the NFL.
