WWE Icon Says Haunted Interview Led to Micah Parsons’ Packers Move

November 22, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

Wrestling legend The Undertaker says that it was his cursed podcast that led to star linebacker Micah Parsons’ record-breaking trade to the Green Bay Packers. The biggest non-quarterback contract in NFL history and the kind of financial commitment that reshaped the league’s defensive landscape didn’t result from any calculating general manager’s mistake — but rather from an unintentional jinx laid down by a seven-time wrestling world champion.

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker confessed on Nov. 19 that he was directly responsible for the August 2025 trade that sent Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers. The shocking trade news shattered the Cowboys’ defensive hopes, and the entire tragedy can be traced back to Parsons’ appearance on The Undertaker’s own show, the “Six Feet Under with The Undertaker” podcast, in July — just weeks before the trade announcement.

Recently, during a segment on “Good Morning Football,” The Undertaker said:

“I truly am The Undertaker… jinxing Micah Parsons,” cementing the dark, comedic theory that his meeting with the young star doomed his career in Dallas.

During the sit-down, The Undertaker observed that Parsons seemed completely prepared to stay in the Lone Star State, saying “nothing that told me that Micah would not be a Cowboy this year,” and that Parsons was gearing up to re-sign:

“Doing that interview, there was nothing that told me that Micah would not be a Cowboy this year,” said Undertaker. “And you can look at it, and you can tell that like, he thinks he’s going to resign. And it was a it was a really relaxed interview, and you can tell, I mean, I don’t know how he got my cap on, but yeah, it was a shocker, and like all my buddies that are Cowboy fans, they’ve kind of christened me that I truly am the Undertaker between Jinx and Micah Parsons.

“I’m not sure that I’m welcomed on the UT’s campus either,” he added. “Every time I do a hype video for them, they lose.”

The Undertaker believes it was that confident energy from Parsons that paved the way for the inevitable end of his time in a Cowboys uniform.

Why was this jinx even necessary? There had to be some reason behind this generational talent’s sudden exit from Dallas.

The Cowboys sent their defensive superstar to Green Bay and, in return for the massive organizational shift, received two future first-round draft picks (for 2026 and 2027) and veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark. The deal created a foundational hole in Dallas’s defense — but also netted them vital long-term assets for the future.

Fans Reacted to Parsons Playing for the NFC North

Parsons signed a four-year, $188 million contract with the Packers, including $120 million fully guaranteed and $136 million in total guarantees. Now playing for the NFC North powerhouse, Parsons has been living up to the massive investment: in the current season, he’s posted 8 sacks, 17 QB hits, and 57 QB pressures — proving that the talent stayed, even if the address changed.

Parsons’ stellar production remains a hot topic across sports media. Fans on X have shared thoughts:

“The Cowboys replaced Micah Parsons with Kenny Clark and Quinnen Williams. Not too bad.”

“Not sure if he has any ties to the Mica Parson trade but Logan Wilson was a great addition to their team too. Love or hate Jerry dude always bounce back somehow.”
