If you’ve seen one Rangers game in 2025, you’ve seen ‘em all
The Texas Rangers didn’t score but the Athletics scored three runs.
We know the Rangers aren’t going to score runs. At this point, 20% into the season, the game within the game is what flavor of not scoring will each day bring.
If last night was the variety of the 2025 season where the Rangers get people on but don’t drive them in, today was the variety where they don’t even get them on. Texas had three hits and didn’t score.
Player of the Game: Tyler Mahle was today’s unfortunate Texas Rangers pitcher who pitched really well (6 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 6 K) only to get shafted by the rest of the roster.
Up Next: The Rangers stay in town and welcome the Mariners to Arlington for a series. RHP Jack Leiter will be the Texas pitcher praying for runs while Seattle will counter with RHP Bryan Woo.
The Friday night first pitch from The Shed is set for 7:05 pm CT and will be carried locally over the air or via Victory+.
