Outfielder Wyatt Langford starts a rehab assignment with Frisco today
Texas Rangers outfielder Wyatt Langford is starting a rehab assignment with the Frisco Roughriders today.
Langford was placed on the 10 day injured list with a mild oblique strain last week, and was not expected to miss much more, if any, than the 10 day minimum. He is eligible to be activated on Saturday, and so it would seem likely that he will play for Frisco today and tomorrow and, if all goes well, be back at the Shed Saturday.
In less positive minor league news, catcher Malcolm Moore, the Rangers 2024 first rounder, has been placed on the minor league injured list with a broken finger suffered on a foul tip earlier this week. He was slashing .267/.463/.467 for high-A Hub City.
