Minor league update for 4/16/25

The Rangers affiliates all won on Wednesday. Huzzah!

Hickory starter Thomas Ireland went five shutout innings, striking out two and walking one. Brock Porter struck out two and walked one in two shutout innings.

Yeremi Cabrera was 2 for 3 with a pair of walks. Marcos Torres doubled. Maxton Martin had a hit, a walk and a stolen base. Jesus Lopez had a hit and a walk. Rafe Perich had a pair of walks. Pablo Guerrero doubled. Wady Mendez had a hit.

Hickory box score

Hub City starter Aidan Curry had a short night, going just 1.1 IP, allowing four runs, walking four and striking out three. Larson Kindreich struck out four and walked one in two shutout innings.

Anthony Gutierrez was 2 for 4 with a double. Casey Cook had two hits, a walk and a stolen base. Gleider Figuereo had a hit.

Hub City box score

Kohl Drake started for Frisco, throwing five shutout innings, striking out six and walking one. Gavin Collyer struck out three and walked two in two shutout innings. Skylar Hales struck out one in one innings, allowing two runs.

Abi Ortiz was 2 for 4 with a homer and a walk. Ian Moller was 2 for 3 with a walk and a stolen base. Sebastian Walcott had a hit and a pair of walks. Alejandro Osuna had a walk and a pair of hits.

Frisco box score

Round Rock starter Adrian Houser allowed a three run homer while walking one and striking out six in five innings. Matt Festa walked one and struck out one in a scoreless inning. Emiliano Teodo struck out three, walked three and allowed a homer in 1.2 IP, giving up two runs. Daniel Robert struck out one in 1.1 IP, allowing a pair of runs.

Justin Foscue was 2 for 4 with a walk, a double and a homer. Trevor Hauver was 2 for 4 with a homer and a walk.
