Minor league update for 5/6/25

Tuesday in the minors

In transactional news, pitcher Hunter Strickland, who was at Round Rock, was released on Monday, and signed a minor league deal with the Angels on Tuesday.

Hickory starter Kamdyn Perry threw five shutout innings, striking out six and walking one.

Pablo Guerrero was 2 for 3 with a walk and a homer. Maxton Martin had a walk and a homer. Chandler Pollard was 2 for 4 with a stolen base.

Leandro Lopez started for Hub City, striking out six and walking one in 5.2 scoreless innings. Joey Danielson allowed a solo homer while striking out two in an inning of work.

Dylan Dreiling was 2 for 4 with a double. Keith Jones II homered. Anthony Gutierrez had a hit and a walk. Danyer Cueva had a pair of hits.

Bryan Magdaleno threw a scoreless inning for Frisco.

Aaron Zavala had a double and a pair of walks. Alejandro Osuna had a double and a walk. Sebastian Walcott had a hit.

Ezequiel Duran continued to rake, going 2 for 5 with a double and a homer. Jake Burger, in his first action since being sent down, was 1 for 4 with a walk. Justin Foscue was 2 for 4 with a walk. Cody Freeman was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. Jonathan Ornelas had a hit.
