
Tuesday’s minor league excitement in the Rangers system
Ismael Agreda started for Hickory and went 4.1 IP, striking out five, walking two and allowing three runs. Thomas Ireland walked one and struck out one in 0.2 scoreless innings. Kai Wynyard allowed a run in two innings, striking out three and walking one.
Maxton Martin had a double and a walk. Pablo Guerrero had a hit. Chandler Pollard had a hit and a stolen base. Yolfran Cabrera was 3 for 5 with a pair of stolen bases. Rafe Perich had a hit and a pair of walks. Ben Hartl had a pair of hits.
Hub City starter Leandro Lopez struck out seven and walked four in 5.2 shutout innings. Wilian Bormie allowed a pair of runs, including a Zombie Runner, in two innings, striking out one and walking one.
Gleider Figuereo and Keith Jones II each had a hit.
Ryan Lobus allowed a run in 1.1 IP for Frisco, walking two and striking out one.
Ian Moller had a pair of doubles. Aaron Zavala had a double and a pair of walks. Sebastian Walcott was 2 for 4 with a double.
Kumar Rocker started for Round Rock, striking out four, walking no one, and allowing one run on three hits. Scott Lucas said on BlueSky it appeared to be a “working on things” outing versus a “get back to Arlington” outing for Rocker. Luis Curvelo allowed a run in an inning of work, striking out one and walking one. Patrick Murphy allowed three runs in two innings, striking out two.
Justin Foscue was 2 for 5 with a double. Blaine Crim was 2 for 3 with a walk. Dustin Harris had a walk and a stolen base. Cody Freeman had a hit.
The ACL Rangers won 3-2.
The DSL Rangers Red won 7-1.
The DSL Rangers Blue lost 12-6.
