The Thursday action in the minors

Hickory starter Brooks Fowler went three innings, allowing one run while striking out four and walking two. Brock Porter struck out one in two scoreless innings.

Yeremi Cabrera was 2 for 4 with a walk and a pair of stolen bases. Maxton Martin had a hit. Esteban Mejia had two hits and a walk.

Hub City starter Dylan MacLean allowed three runs in 4.2 IP, striking out three and walking one. Wilian Bormie struck out one and walked one in 1.1 scoreless.

Casey Cook was 3 for 5 with a stolen base. Anthony Gutierrez was 3 for 5 with a walk and two stolen bases. Rafe Perich had a hit.

Hub City box score

Frisco starter Josh Stephan allowed seven runs in five innings, striking out four and walking one. Larson Kindreich struck out one in a shutout inning. Avery Weems struck out two in a scoreless inning.

Rehabbing Wyatt Langford was 1 for 3 with a homer. Keith Jones II doubled. Abi Ortiz had a double and a walk.

Patrick Murphy went 1.1 scoreless innings, walking two. Cole Winn struck out three in two shutout innings. Robbie Ahlstrom struck out two and walked one in a scoreless inning. Craig Kimbrel allowed a three run homer in an inning of work, walking two and striking out two.

Dustin Harris was 2 for 4 with a homer. Cody Freeman had a pair of homers. Blaine Crim had two hits and a walk.

Jose Corniell made his return from Tommy John surgery for the Surprise Squad, walked one and allowing a run in an inning of work. Kyle Larsen struck out one in a scoreless inning. Aidan Curry struck out eight in five shutout innings.

Paulino Santana was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. Rashawn Pinder was 2 for 5.
