A collection of minor league game action things for you

Owen White was back on the mound for Down East — his first outing for the DEWDs since breaking his hand after a bad outing in his debut — and did solid work, striking out four and walking one in two innings. Gavin Collyer came in after White threw five shutout innings, walking three, striking out three and allowing a hit. Conner Sechler allowed two runs in an inning of work.

Daniel Mateo had a single and a double. Alberto Osuna doubled. Thomas Saggese walked, singled and tripled. Randy Florentino homered. Luisangel Acuna homered. Keyber Rodriguez had a walk and a hit.

Down East box score

Justin Slaten started for Hickory and went 5 innings, allowing three runs on six hits (two HRs) and two walks, striking out eight. Nic Laio lasted just 0.2 IP, allowing a run on a walk, two hits and a K.

Dustin Harris was two for five with a homer, and is now slashing .469/.471/.844 in 7 games for Hickory. Justin Foscue was one for four with a walk and has a 1143 OPS for Hickory. Josh Smith had a single, a stolen base and a walk. Jake Guenther doubled. Jonathan Ornelas had a hit and a walk. David Garcia had a hit, a walk and an HBP. Justin Hauver doubled.

Frisco didn’t play because of the team’s COVID-19 outbreak.

For Round Rock, John King threw a scoreless inning, throwing 19 pitches, walking a batter and allowing a hit. Reports indicated that he might just have the one rehab outing before being activated.

Jake Latz made his AAA debut and had some issues — he allowed six runs (three earned) in five innings, allowing a pair of home runs among eight hits while walking two and striking out four. Nick Snyder struck out two in a scoreless inning. Scott Engler walked two and struck out one in a scoreless inning.

Steele Walker homered. Sherten Apostel had a pair of hits. Ryan Dorow had a double and a homer. Nick Solak had a double and a walk. Carl Chester had a hit.

Round Rock box score

Dylan MacLean started in Arizona and went three shutout innings, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out one. Winston Santos allowed three hits in 1.1 IP, walking three, allowing two hits and striking out two. Michael Brewer allowed two hits in 1.2 scoreless innings, striking out two. Anthony Hoopii-Tuionetoa allowed three runs in 0.1 IP on two walks and a homer.

Josy Galan double and tripled. Efrenyer Narvaez had a pair of hits. Zion Bannister had a single and a double. Junior Paniagua had a hit.
