Some hot and steamy minor league results
Down East played a pair on Sunday. In Game One, Nate Krauth started and went four innings, allowing two runs on three hits and four walks, striking out three. Destin Dotson allowed two unearned runs on one hit in one inning, striking out one. Marc Church proved mortal, allowing a run for the first time in six weeks, while striking out three and walking one in two innings of work.
Daniel Mateo had a double and a walk. Jayce Easley had two walks and a stolen base. Luisangel Acuna had two hits and a stolen base. Keyber Rodriguez had a single and a triple. Thomas Saggese had a single and a homer.

Cole Ragans started for Frisco, and saw things go sideways with a rough fourth inning. His final line was 4 IP, 7 runs (4 earned), five hits (including two home runs), one walk and five strikeouts. Tyler Thomas threw a scoreless inning. Corey Lee struck out three and walked one in two scoreless innings.
J.P. Martinez had a pair of hits. Josh Stowers had a pair of hits, including one in the ninth inning to start the Roughriders rally that turned a 7-6 deficit into a two out, 8-7 walkoff win. Blaine Crim had three hits and a walk. Sam Huff had a single and a homer. Anderson Tejeda had a homer and a two out walk in the ninth to load the bases and set the stage for Dio Arias’s walkoff two run single.

Brock Burke had a strong start for the Round Rock Express on Sunday — arguably his best since joining the Rangers prior to the 2019 season. Burke threw five shutout innings, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out eight. Collin Wiles allowed a run on a solo homer in two innings. Scott Engler also allowed a run on a solo homer in two innings of work.
Leody Taveras was two for three with a homer and an IBB. Steele Walker had a homer. Nick Solak had a walk and a ninth inning double, then scored a go ahead run due to a walk and a wild pitch.
