Texas Rangers update for Saturday, April 12
Good morning, LSB.
The Rangers lost to the Mariners yesterday, 5-3.
Jacob deGrom has a Luka Doncic like quality to him in which you can be like “yeah man, he just didn’t have it today /:” after he allows three whole runs.
Evan Grant writes that the Rangers couldn’t pick up the slack for an “all over the place” DeGrom.
Josh Smith continues to impress in his super-utility role in the loss.
Elsewhere, Jack Leiter is back on the mound.
Joc Pederson is looking to climb out of his career-worst start.
Michael Young will have his coaching hat back on for the World Baseball Classic.
And MLB Pipeline lists each org’s most stacked MiLB club.
That’s all for this morning. The Rangers and Mariners play late again tonight, 8:40 first pitch with Kumar Rocker on the mound for Texas.
Have a great weekend!
