- Kumar Rocker hit 97.3 mph with his sinker, averaging 95.8 mph, and 97.0 m-h with his fastball, averaging 95.5 mph. Hoby Milner reached 88.4 mph with his fastball. Jacob Webb’s fastball topped out at 94.4 mph.
- Rowdy Tellez’s home run was 111.4 mph. Adolis Garcia had a 109.4 mph groundout and a 105.9 mph single. Evan Carter had a 107.7 mph groundout. Corey Seager had a 106.3 mph single and a 100.4 mph lineout. Kyle Higashioka had a 103.8 mph single.
- And now Texas can get to two games above .500, and sweep the Tigers, with a win on Sunday. Which will feature Jacob Latz instead of Nathan Eovaldi (who has a stiff back) against Tarik Skubal. But we are still going to think positive!
