Carolina Hurricanes vs Philadelphia Flyers
Head-to-Head: Hurricanes 1-0 Flyers
US TV: Fan Duel Sports South; NBC Sports Philadelphia; ESPN+
Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
We open up NHL predictions with a Metropolitan Division matchup between the Carolina Hurricanes versus the Philadelphia Flyers. Pyotr Kochetkov is expected to get the start for Carolina. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Hurricanes are 6-4 in the last 10 games, including victories in the last two games. Seth Jarvis leads the team in goals, while Sebastian Aho is first on the team in points with 26.
Daniel Vladar is projected to get the start for the Flyers, who are 6-3-1 in the last 10 games. However, Philadelphia has dropped three of its previous five games. Despite the recent setbacks, the Flyers seem to be doing well in Rick Tocchet‘s first season behind the bench. Trevor Zegras is off to a fantastic start in Philadelphia with 11 goals and 17 assists for 28 points.
Both teams are doing well so far this season, but Carolina should get the win on the road.
Prediction: Hurricanes win 4-2.
